Fall Break is Coming!

Chocolate, Anyone?

Several of you commented on how great the chocolate tasting was last year, so... Back by popular demand, chocolatier L Nitin Chordia will teach us all about chocolate in a 25 minute session and then proceed onto a chocolate tasting. This event is scheduled for November 16, 4:00 - 5:30. Prepayment of 450 rupees to me is required. Sign up here.

Fitness News:

For people wanting more workout options off campus, check out this offer from Flabfit (I apologize on their behalf for the name). They partner with studios offering YOGA, ZUMBA, GYMS, AND WEIGHTS  all over the city and include it all in one reasonable plan.

If you're interested in CROSSFIT, contact our own James Dowling, djames@aischennai.org, to find out about participating here at school.

Mindfulness/Meditation News:

Interested in a meditation practice? Contact Bindu, kbindu@aischennai.org, for morning practice at school.

Excursion News:

Interested in an overnight stay and a Pondicherry Morning Bicycle Tour December 8-9?

I'm wondering if there is a group who would like to go to Pondy on a Friday after school, spend the night, and then have a bicycle tour in the morning from 7 - 9 AM? It goes to the Muslim area to Kuruchikuppam through Goubert market and Heritage town:

"This tour will allow you to feel the morning pulse of the city, when it wakes up and the streets are empty... The rhythm is quiet and the atmosphere friendly, no big speech, only a good balance of all the things that makes Pondicherry a very charming place. And as a yummy end, French or Indian breakfast in Sita's garden!"

Depending on interest, we might be able to book rooms together, but I've been told that there are no special "deals" between now and March, AND WE WOULD HAVE TO BOOK NOW. This would be a Wellness sponsored, self-pay event:

Cycle tour:
1200 rupees/adults
400 / children

Hotels - choice

Closed

Have a wonderful, well-deserved break.

-Beth
