It occurs to me that there are certain ritualized ways to do that in different cultures (Canada: Boxing Day, U.S.: Yard Sales, and AISC: Newsflash). In our home, I refer to it as the big purge, and it feels GREAT. It's usually in reaction to a sense of regret about my consumerism. I just have TOO MUCH stuff! What if there was a way to adorn ourselves and rejoice in our splendor without buying more stuff? Well, there is! To that end, there's another round of an AISC clothing swap/potluck coming up December 1, 11:00 - 1:00 at Keeley's house. Look for this on the Wellness Matters Calendar.
